When you delete your account, Cadooga retains very minimal information like your name and a single image for up to 60 months, similar to the way credit card companies do. This is to protect our user community. You also are no longer linked to your partner.
To maintain the integrity of our community, Cadooga retains one secure reference image for each deleted user in a secure vault. This image is used solely to prevent people from rejoining under a false identity. After 60 months we permanently delete the image from our system.
Yes, we keep a single image for up to 60 months. This helps prevent people from creating fraudulent accounts.
Cadooga retains a single image for up to 60 months. This limited retention helps protect our community and prevent identity fraud — similar to how financial institutions retain certain records to verify account history. We do this to ensure that users cannot create duplicate or deceptive accounts under different names, maintaining safety and integrity across the platform.
When you create an account with Cadooga, we first check our database to make sure you don’t already have an active membership. If your account was previously deleted, we use a single retained image and limited identifying information (like name, date of birth, and email) to confirm that you’re not rejoining under a different identity.
If our system detects a possible match and the name or details don’t align exactly, you’ll be redirected to complete a Jumio facial verification check to confirm your identity before rejoining.
If the information matches your original account, you’ll be able to rejoin right away using the same name. This process helps us prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts and keeps the Cadooga community safe and authentic.
We also look at device markers, phone/email reuse, and unusual login locations. These checks help us detect fraud attempts while avoiding mistakes
Deactivation: Temporary. Your account is hidden but not erased. You can come back and reactivate anytime and pick up right where you left off!
Deletion: Permanent. You will have to create a new account.
Your profile is moved into an inactive state, and you are unlinked from anyone you may be connected to. They will receive a notification that you are no longer linked. You will also no longer appear in any Cadooga member searches or live face scan searches as a member. You can log back in and reactivate your account at any time, restoring full access and visibility.
When you delete your Cadooga account, all of your personal information, posts, and connections are permanently removed from our active system. However, to protect our community from identity fraud and duplicate accounts, we securely retain one reference image and limited identifying details — such as your name, date of birth, and email — for up to 60 months. This limited record allows us to confirm that a person trying to rejoin isn’t attempting to create a second or false identity. If you decide to return, we’ll check your information against this record. If there’s any discrepancy, you’ll be directed to complete an identity verification through Jumio before rejoining.
In both cases, you will not appear as a Cadooga member. If scanned, you’ll show up the same way a “stranger” with no identifying details beyond public information.
No. Deletion is permanent. Only deactivation allows you to come back later. If you delete your account you have to go through the entire sign up process again.
A Blue Check mark is for everyday users who want to verify their identity. A Gold Check mark is for public figures and offers higher visibility and trust.
You’ll use a third-party ID verification (Jumio) for a Blue mark. For a Gold Check, there is additional criteria to qualify as a public figure. Contact us via email and we can walk you through the process.
Cadooga uses your phone's front facing camera in real time (not just uploaded photos) to verify identity and reduce fake accounts, impersonation, and fraud.
It’s a feature that uses blockchain and watermark to timestamp your creative content, giving you a time-stamped record of your creative upload. It doesn't establish a formal copyright. It documents the exact date and time your work was uploaded.
The blockchain timestamp and watermark act as a source of evidence that you uploaded your content onto blockchain, creating a verifiable record of when your work was first submitted. It can be used as a first step towards protecting your creativity.
No. Once you create an Intend2Copyright record in Cadooga, it’s permanently timestamped and stored on blockchain. It does not expire.
No. Intend2Copyright creates a secure, time-stamped proof of upload, but it is NOT a substitute for a formal registration with the U.S. Copyright Office. For maximum legal protection, you will need to register your work officially.
Before deleting your account, you will be prompted to download all of your Intend2Copyright records to your device. This ensures you always have your files plus the blockchain proof, even if you no longer use the app. If you delete your account without saving your files, your blockchain records will still exist permanently on Ethereum as proof of authorship. You can always view them independently on Etherscan, the official Ethereum blockchain explorer. Why this matters? Your copyright proof doesn’t depend on us. It’s permanently available on the blockchain, giving you transparency, independence, and control. You decide whether to download, store, or verify your records — we simply provide you with the tools to access them.
Yes! However, you will need to submit a written request via email to our support team at support@cadooga.com. Once we verify your identity, we can provide you with the records associated with your deleted account. • Please note: there may be a service charge, depending on the amount of records we need to retrieve.
